New Zealand offers competitive incentives for international productions and we can help you apply and receive the International NZ Screen Production Grant (NZSPG) - it is a very straight forward incentive system which upon submission of final application is finalised 3 months later.

Here’s how the International NZSPG work:

The New Zealand Screen Production Grant (NZSPG) offers a baseline equivalent to 20% of qualifying NZ production expenditure (QNZPE).

• The minimum QNZPE for theatrical feature films is $15 million NZD

• The minimum QNZPE for television and other non-feature-film projects is $4 million NZD

The Post-Production, Digital & Visual Effects Grant (PDV) offers a baseline equivalent to 20% of qualifying NZ production expenditure (QNZPE)

• Only up to $25 million NZD and 18% of QNZPE thereafter

• The minimum QNZPE for Post-production, Digital and Visual Effects (PDV) is $500,000 NZD

And by NZFC invitation only...

• An extra 5% rebate for projects demonstrating significant additional economical benefit to New Zealand (note very specific criteria required)
